Job summary

Mars is seeking a Distributor Development Leader to drive Malaysia Wrigley Confectionery general trade through sub-distributors. The role focuses on optimizing product availability, visibility, and cost efficiency.

You will lead distributor teams, cultivate top account relationships, and ensure strong in-market execution, ROI, and performance metrics. Central base with regional oversight.

Qualifications

• College Graduate - Degree in business or any relevant discipline.
• Must possess a driver’s license.
• Min 3 years in Sales in FMCG.
• Min 1 year in Sales in FMCG handling Modern Trade Accounts.
• Min 1 year in Sales in FMCG handling General Trade Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Targets: Deliver sub-distributor sales targets. Monitor progress and develop plans to address variance.
• Forecast: Participate in the trade sales demand forecast - Rolling 13 Periods.
• Distributors: Achieve distributor and Top Accounts Reach and Frequency objectives.
• In-store: Execute Picture of Success guidelines and plan POSM deployment.
• Promotions: Develop and evaluate distributor in-store promotions and manage Trade Promotion Funds.
• Account Management: Develop distributor business plans, scorecards and trading terms.
• Trade Communications: Implement Trade Communication Plan and pricing strategy.
• Channel Profitability: ROI analysis for distributor performance.
