Job summary

DHL Express Malaysia is seeking a proactive Gateway Operations Leader to coach a rostered shift team, ensuring shipments enter and exit the country in line with network procedures, safely and securely. You will lead the standard process flow to meet customer needs and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities include managing inbound/outbound material, keeping equipment running, maintaining a tidy work area, and preparing for the next cycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Valid driving license; forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a gateway operations team on a rostered shift basis ensuring that shipments enter and exit the country in accordance with network procedures in a safe and secure manner
• Lead the standard and agreed process flow in daily operations to satisfy the customer needs and requirements
• Process inbound and outbound material according to the latest processes and procedures
• Ensure that all relevant equipment is operating and take corrective actions when equipment fails
• Keep the process area clean and tidy and make sure it is ready for the next process cycle
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers) and flexibility

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least Diploma or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess valid Driving License and Forklift License (Preferably).
