Job summary

Affin Pheim is seeking a BDC Supervisor to oversee day-to-day BDC operations, ensuring staff deployment, regulatory compliance and target achievement. You will lead BDC Sales Executives, monitor FCN buy/sell processes, manage scheduling, and drive initiatives to improve productivity and service quality in a fast-paced banking environment.

The role requires a degree and relevant FX/banking operations experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any relevant discipline.
• Experience in foreign exchange, banking operations, cash management, or related financial services.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and numerical skills for monitoring rates and volumes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the BDC and FCN buy/sell transactions.
• Provide guidance on duties of the BDC Sales Executives.
• Plan staff rotation and duty schedules for adequate coverage.
• Monitor sales performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Oversee rate entry, pricing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and support BDC Sales Executives to strengthen capability.
• Identify operational gaps and implement efficiency improvements.
• Document controls and records; liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Support Head of BDC in initiatives and priority projects.
• Ensure consistent service standards and professional customer experience.
