Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services, Asia Pacific, is seeking a Capital Market - Settlements specialist in Malaysia. You will execute settlement processing for FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives trades, ensure timely completion, and support day-to-day settlement operations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in FX settlement, money markets, or derivatives settlement
• Ability to perform second-level checks on settlement instructions and documentation
• Strong understanding of settlement lifecycle and regulatory requirements
• Experience with settlement systems and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Execute settlement processing for FX, Money Markets and Derivatives trades in line with SLAs
• Support day-to-day management of settlement activities including payments and issue resolution
• Escalate and resolve settlement breaks, payment failures, or reconciliation discrepancies
• Perform validation and checks on settlement instructions for vanilla and complex trades
• Manage settlement queues and ensure adherence to regional cut-off times
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Client Services and external counterparties
• Contribute to management reporting such as KPIs, break volumes and risk indicators
• Support process improvements, automation and system enhancements across settlements
• Participate in projects to improve settlement platforms and STP
