Job summary

RBC is seeking an Analyst in Malaysia to ensure accurate position and money balancer for Futures & Cleared Derivatives, aligning with regulatory reporting and trade notifications. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience.

Working hours are aligned to the global desk with shifts 3pm–12am or 4pm–1am Malaysian time. The role emphasizes risk controls, four-eyes reviews, and ongoing training within a collaborative, high-performance

Qualifications

• Must-have: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Clearing, Reconciliations, Control, Regulatory Reporting and Operational Risk Management.
• Futures and Options background is strongly preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Balance futures and options positions and money with exchanges and carry brokers.
• Balance IRS positions and money with member exchanges.
• Provide coverage for option exercise/assignment and notifications.
• Monitor and adjust positions at exchange for balancing and large trader activity.
• Handle T+1 trade queries and coordinate with Global Operations, FO Sales and Trading.
• Contribute to industry projects, system upgrades and new business initiatives.
