Job summary

RBC is seeking an Analyst in Putrajaya to ensure accurate position balancing for Futures and Cleared Derivatives. You will coordinate with exchanges, carry brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely reporting and risk controls.

The role involves monitoring positions, handling queries, and supporting projects across the global operations framework. The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree and knowledge of regulatory reporting, risk management, and RBC back/middle office systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Clearing, Reconciliations, Control, Regulatory Reporting and Operational Risk Management.
• Basic knowledge of RBC and vendor back and middle office systems.
• Detail oriented with ability to balance futures and options positions.
• Futures and Options background essential.

Responsibilities

• Balance RBCCM's futures and options positions and money to exchanges and carry brokers.
• Balance IRS positions and money to exchanges.
• Provide exercise/assignment coverage and notifications for options.
• Monitor and adjust positions at exchange for balancing, including large trader activity.
• Handle T+1 trade queries and coordinate with Global Operations, FO Sales, Trading and clients.
• Contribute to industry projects, system upgrades and new initiatives.
