Job summary

Protege Fund Services is seeking a Financial Accountant in Malaysia to manage financial accounting, fund statements and liaise with auditors as part of daily operations within a growing fund administrator team.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience; CPA/ACCA is an advantage. The role offers MYR 4,400–7,000 gross monthly and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV, and finance.
• Experience in audit or accounting, preferably in the financial industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting accounting entries and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial accounts and financial statements to clients.
• Liaison with auditors to support annual fund audits.
• Support related queries from clients.
