Job summary

VITA RECYCLE SDN BHD is seeking a reliable Driver to join our warehousing and distribution team in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time role involves transporting goods and waste materials, performing vehicle inspections, and supporting warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have a valid E-FULL licence, 2-3 years of driving experience in logistics, a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of Malaysia road safety regulations.

Qualifications

• A valid E-FULL licence appropriate for the vehicles being operated.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional driving experience in a logistics or warehousing environment.
• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in Malaysia.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness and capability to perform loading/unloading tasks as required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and management.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with warehousing operations and material handling is advantageous; basic vehicle maintenance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and professionally to transport goods, materials, and waste products to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and minimise fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and compliance with weight distribution requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delays, issues, or changes to routes.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company policies whilst driving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle interior and cargo area.
• Support warehouse operations as required to ensure efficient service delivery.
