Job summary

Konsep Karisma Sdn Bhd seeks a responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and maintain a complete set of accounts. The role covers AP/AR, general ledger, cash book, and e-invoice, with responsibility for accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Based in Alor Gajah, Malaysia, the company has a long-standing focus on town planning consultancy since 1994, delivering high-quality planning projects and sustainable urban solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in handling bank reconciliation, AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Good understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash book & e-invoice.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts, including outstanding balances and payment status.
• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit statutory payments and relevant financial information, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and SST, where applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties when required.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation and provide the necessary supporting documents.
