Job summary

Angel Tours Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Penang to manage full set accounts and support travel operations. The role covers AP/AR, daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts and financial reports.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of accounting and administration experience, be proficient in MS Office and accounting software, and able to work independently. Mandarin communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• STPM, Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Mandarin-speaking candidate preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Full Set Accounts independently.
• Ability to prepare Monthly Management Accounts.
• Travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of travel reservation systems (e.g. Galileo) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including supplier invoices and client billing.
• Perform daily bookkeeping, data entry, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain Full Set Accounts independently.
• Handle office administration, filing, correspondence and office supplies.
• Support travel operations, including passenger lists, payment verification, and tour logistics coordination.
