Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive / Associate to join our Controllership team in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on Record to Report operations. Fresh graduates with strong academics are welcome. The role involves managing General Ledger processes, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Mandarin proficiency is a plus for cross-market coordination (CH, TW & HK). We offer a hybrid work mode and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in general accounting; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in an auditing firm is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred to support CH, TW & HK markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor General Ledger processes, including Reconciliations, Lease accounting, Month-end financial reporting and Inventory
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities in compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to support audit requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Support finance-related communication in different markets (CH, TW & HK) where Mandarin is an advantage.
• Prepare financial documents and correspondence in Mandarin, where required, ensuring high standards of written and verbal communication
• Take full ownership of assigned tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement.
