Job summary

HABIB Group operates a leading retail and distribution network and is expanding its hospitality services. We seek a proactive hotel front desk associate to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, handle reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.

You will assist guests with information on facilities, rates and activities while performing cashiering duties and upselling services.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out, room assignments and special requests.
• Handle reservations, cancellations and room availability updates.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, room types, rates and activities.
• Perform cashiering duties including payment collection and cash handling.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to prepare rooms and handle guest requests.
• Promote hotel rooms and services through suggestive selling and upselling.
• Handle guest enquiries, calls, messages and packages professionally.
• Maintain records, logs and room status updates.

Job description

Perform cashiering duties including payment collection, billing, posting charges and cash handling.

Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are attended to.

Promote hotel rooms and services through suggestive selling and upselling.

Handle guest enquiries, telephone calls, messages, mail and packages professionally.

Assist guests with luggage and provide information on breakfast, room keys and hotel amenities.

Maintain accurate records, logs and room status updates.

Follow hotel safety, emergency, cash handling and operational procedures.

Report any unusual incidents or guest requests to the Duty Officer.

Attend department meetings and stay updated on daily hotel activities.
