Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Electrical/ Electronics/ Control Engineer to join our engineering team in Subang Jaya. You will understand machine structure, design new unit parts, prepare operation manuals, and assist in machine cost-down improvements.

Fresh graduates welcomed; 1–3 years in semiconductor equipment advantageous; proficient in Autocad; knowledge in vision systems and motion control; able to work independently and under pressure at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering.
• Min. 1-3 years working experience in semiconductor equipment or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Must know how to use Autocad for drafting and design.
• Knowledge in vision system and motion control.
• Excellent in hardware actuator (motor, driver, sensor) and etc.
• Able to work independently and work under pressure at customer place to handle any problem facing.
• Strong interest in machinery, automation system and hardware configuration.
• Resourceful and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Understand machine structure, hardware and software system
• Design new unit/machine part according to requirement and specification (Minor/Major)
• Understand and prepare operation manual/electrical wiring manual for customer
• Fully in charge of machine trouble shooting in house.
• To provide support/information to customer for machine operation and problem solving.
• In charge of small scale hardware design (i.e. add sensor, solenoid valve) with/without guidance from superior.
• Understand hardware wiring diagram and all electrical components used in machine.
• To provide information to Production Engineer regarding machine general movement and unit movement.
• To help in improving existing machine.
• Help in doing machine cost down.
• Carry on duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
