About the job Freelance Verbal Translator (Mandarin Bahasa Melayu)

ob Scope & Responsibilities:

• Provide verbal translation between Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu during meetings, site visits, or discussions with China-based clients.
• Ensure accurate, clear, and professional interpretation to facilitate effective communication.
• Attend assigned translation sessions punctually at the designated venues.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Working Arrangement:

• Assignments will be notified at least 3 days in advance.
• Translators must be available to attend as scheduled.
• Last-minute cancellations by the translator will result in disqualification from future assignments.
• Within Selangor: No transportation or accommodation allowance provided.
• Outstation (outside Selangor): Accommodation and transportation will be covered by the company.
• Candidate must have own transportation.

Dress Code:

• Male: Long pants and collared shirt.
• Female: If wearing a dress, it must cover the knees and have sleeves.
• Must appear neat, clean, and professional during all assignments.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Able to travel within Selangor for assignments.
• Prior experience in verbal translation or interpretation is an advantage.
