Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is offering a 12-week internship in Penang for final-year or penultimate-year students in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering. You will design, validate and optimize RTL for FPGA systems, work on hardware-software co-design for AI workloads, and contribute to reference designs and demos across global teams.

The role requires SystemVerilog/Verilog RTL expertise, embedded C/C++ experience, and the ability to work across sites and cultures.

Qualifications

• Final-year or penultimate-year student in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Systems or Computer Engineering.
• Demonstrated RTL design and verification (SystemVerilog/Verilog) and FPGA timing closure or resource analysis.
• Embedded C/C++ with DMA, interrupts and memory-mapped I/O.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and validate RTL for prototype FPGA systems including soft-IP integration.
• Develop hardware-software co-design flows for AI workloads between host GPU and FPGA.
• Automate validation and bring-up: regression suites, CI, telemetry and test-result reporting.
• Transform results into engineering collateral: reference designs, user guides, and demos.
