Job summary

AG Logistic Group is seeking an experienced logistics professional to support forwarding operations and ensure compliant import/export activities. The role focuses on maintaining accuracy of customs documents, HS codes, duties, and tax calculations while coordinating with customs authorities and customers.

The candidate should have a Diploma or higher in a related field, with extensive experience in logistics and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any related field with experience in related field for 5 years.
• Minimum SPM with experience in Logistics Industry, Shipping or related field for 7 years.
• Good communication and computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
• KEK (Kursus Ejen Kastam) certificate holder is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist AG Group to achieve organizational objectives in short and long terms.
• Manage and supervise forwarding operation activities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure accuracy of import/export customs clearance documentation using EDI data entry.

Job Description:-

• Assist the AG Group to achieve the organizations objectives short term and long terms goals.
• Manage, monitor and supervise the forwarding Operation activity effectively and efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction and customer retention.
• Ensure the accuracy of import export Customs clearance documentation using the EDI data entry (K1,K2, K3, K8, K9, DG, ZB and FSPG) in conformance with the Customs regulations.
• Ensure the documentation accuracy such as HS Code, duty, tax computation and exemption for smooth Custom cargo clearance activity and timely distribution to customers.
• Monitor and handling matters related issues such as DG, ZB, BG drawback, COO and import-export temporary procedures ATA, Carnet, BG and etc.
• Resolve cargo reporting discrepancies with Customs department.
• Resolve the customer’s problems, complaints, within own level authority, investigate till up to resolution or upscale to concerned parties to expedite the actions.
• Report Customer feedback from potential and existing customer to the Management.
• Good networking and relationships with customers, vendors, transporter and stakeholder.
• Provide contingency planning to operation team to minimize delivery disruptions to customers.
• Prepare the counter measure reports to solve any problems occurred and reported to the HOD.
• Compliance to all related government regulatory and statutory requirements in all business activity.
• Prepare required report by Management related to the operation activity.
• Assist to review or revise the related procedures, work instructions & guidelines.
• Always adhere to the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy all the time.
• Ensure all the activity are compliance with business ethics and Company code of conduct.
• Obey and execute any other task instructed by the Manager, HOD or higher level at any time
• Ensure that other government agencies' (OGA) document requirements are satisfied and sufficiently prepared during the customs clearance process.
• Reviewing declarations made by subordinates’ staff, especially those affecting import duty and sales tax exemptions.
• Stay up to date on the newest government regulations and requirements, particularly those relating to the Customs Act.

Working Experiences and Academic Requirements:-

• Diploma in any related field with experience in related field for 5 years
• Minimum SPM with experience in Logistics Industry, Shipping or any related field for 7 years.
• Good business acumen and knowledge in the logistics industry including transportation and warehousing
• Ability to develop close relationships with customers, government officers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good in computer using Microsoft Office and Excel.
• KEK (Kursus Ejen Kastam) certificate holder is an advantage.
