Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in freight forwarding, cargo handling, or related logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and partner engagement
• Attention to detail with accuracy in documentation and data entry
• Problem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of air freight, sea freight, and land transportation services is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments and manage documentation requirements for air, sea, and land transportation, prefer proficiency with Malaysia kastam form and Singapore permit
• Liaise with clients to obtain shipping requirements, booking details, and delivery instructions
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients on cargo status and delivery timelines
• Manage customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments, billing, and service delivery
• Maintain accurate records and database entries for all forwarding transactions
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and freight partners
