Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Food R&D specialist to explore consumer markets and new technologies, and to establish production applications for food ingredients and flavour solutions. You will write trial reports, conduct evaluations, and help ensure compliance with quality systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related field, and willingness to work in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang Johor. Prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Technology, Chemical or related field for Food R&D.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on current consumer markets and latest technologies for new development.
• Establish production applications.

Company Background

Our client specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of food ingredients, seasonings, sauces, and customized food solutions for the food service and food manufacturing industries. They determine and develop tailored seasoning and flavour solutions for customers in Malaysia and selected export markets.

Job Responsibilities

• To conduct research on current consumer markets and latest technologies available for new development.
• To establish production application
• Responsible in conduct trial run and prepare trial report analysis; conduct product evaluation and testing.
• To ensure the process of product complies with existing technical and quality procedure.
• To conduct shelf life study on new product
• To ensure the Quality Management system and food safety system are effectively implemented and maintained
• Responsible for Food Safety System implementation (e.g HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL)
• To lead in the absence of R & D Assistant Manager

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Food Technology, Chemical and Bio-process or any related course for Food Research & Development.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing would be highly preferable.
• Willing to work in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang Johor area

Salary Range: Up to RM5k

Location: Tanjung Langsat, Johor
