Job summary

SUMOS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily and weekly production operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, Production Management or related field (3–5 years preferred).
• Experience in managing production teams and daily manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 or related food-safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily and weekly production activities according to production schedules and resources.
• Lead, supervise and manage the Production team; set expectations and monitor performance.
• Oversee stock and inventory control; coordinate with Warehouse and Purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and audit requirements; support audits and CAPA.
• Prepare and submit production reports; monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
