Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Manufacturing, Operations Management, Nutrition or related field.
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience in food production or manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities according to schedules and demand.
• Ensure production targets, output, and deadlines are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products are prepared according to recipes, specs and procedures.
• Identify production issues, bottlenecks, wastage, and inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure that production activities comply with Food Safety, hygiene, quality, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production and order fulfilment.
• Monitor product quality, consistency, portion control, and production specifications.
• Allocate manpower according to daily production requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production team members.
