Job summary

KMT JAYA SDN BHD is seeking a Sales Planning & Business Development professional to shape strategies for General Trade and CVS channels in Malaysia. You will set targets, analyze trends, and expand market coverage while coordinating with distributors and internal teams to drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in FMCG sales, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a proactive, market-minded approach. Travel and a valid driving license are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant FMCG sales experience, preferably in General Trade and/or CVS.
• Proven experience managing distributors, wholesalers, retailers and other GT/CVS customers.
• Experience in supervising or leading a sales team.
• Experience in food & beverage, Korean products, consumer goods or distribution is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans for GT and CVS channels.
• Set and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets to achieve business objectives.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends and customer demand to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Drive distribution, coverage, visibility and promotions across GT and CVS outlets.
• Supervise, coach and motivate Sales Executives, Representatives and Merchandisers.
• Coordinate with Marketing/Trade Marketing to execute sales promotions and activities.
• Monitor orders, stock levels, payment status and outlet performance.
