Job summary

Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the floating solar PV project, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia. You will oversee civil, structural, marine, mechanical, electrical, transmission, solar PV and BESS works to deliver safely, on schedule and within budget.

You will coordinate EPCC contractors, supervise interfaces, drive planning, monitor progress, ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance, and lead inspections, testing and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (P.Eng) is preferred.
• CIDB registration and valid safety induction / Green Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction activities across civil, structural, marine, mechanical, electrical, transmission, solar PV, BESS and balance-of-plant works.
• Coordinate and supervise EPCC contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
• Drive construction planning, sequencing and interface management across multiple work fronts.
• Monitor and control project performance, including progress, productivity and look-ahead planning.
• Ensure QA/QC, permits, environmental controls and regulatory obligations are met.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, commissioning, HSE, consultants and authorities to resolve challenges.
• Lead inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, mechanical completion and handover activities.
• Provide strong leadership and stakeholder management with clients, regulators and communities.
