Job summary

National Oilwell Varco is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing tasks, ensuring tooling readiness, heat transfer to ovens, and proper material handling during winding processes. You will perform quality checks, maintain safety standards, and report issues promptly to your foreman or supervisor.

You should be able to perform repetitive manual tasks, operate basic hand tools, and work in rotating shifts while maintaining clean, orderly work areas and conforming to company

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tooling to run the production according to schedule.
• Collect and prepare resin and materials during winding process.
• Ensure tooling is heated/ transferred in the oven before production.
• Keep tooling standby clean and in good operating condition.
• Transfer the pipe and fitting into post-cure oven after wind.
• Perform quality control, reporting and record keeping.
• Comply with safety, housekeeping and health procedures at work.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job description

As production operator. you will be performed the task/job assigned by the foreman or supervisor to meet the production schedule, product quality, safety and housekeeping. It can be exciting rule and could be allow to operate approved hand machinery to complete the task given.

Job Description

• Prepare the tooling to run the production according to schedule given. To collect and get ready the resin and material during the winding process for fitting production
• To ensure the tooling to be heat/transfer in the oven before production.
• To ensure all tooling standby must be clean and maintain in good operating condition. Any damage or hiccup must be report immediately to foreman or supervisor for further action.
• To transfer the pipe and fitting into post cure oven after wind.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedure, and report problems if any to foreman or supervisor.
• To comply with all safety, housekeeping and health procedure at work or premise.
• Any other duties assign by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement

• Minimum SPM Qualification or equivalent.
• Preferred experience is manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to carry physical works.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor in various conditions (hot, dusty, wet and noisy).
• This role required you to work on rotating shifts.
