Job summary

NOV in Kulai, Johor is seeking a production operator to support the foreman by performing tasks to meet the production schedule, ensure product quality, safety and housekeeping standards. The role may involve operating approved hand machinery to complete assigned tasks.

You will prepare tooling and materials, monitor heat processes, transfer items to post cure ovens after winding, and participate in quality control, reporting any issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
• Able to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Must be able to perform repetitive manual labor and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tooling to run production according to schedule.
• Collect and ready resin and material during winding process for production.
• Ensure tooling is heated/transferred in the oven before production.
• Maintain tooling in clean, good condition and report issues promptly.
• Transfer pipes and fittings into post- cure oven after wind.
• Perform quality control and follow reporting/record-keeping procedures.
• Comply with safety, housekeeping and health procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

As production operator you will be performed the task/job assigned by the foreman or supervisor to meet the production schedule, product quality, safety and housekeeping. It can be exciting rule and could be allow to operate approved hand machinery to complete the task given.

• Prepare the tooling to run the production according to schedule given. To collect and get ready the resin and material during the winding process for fitting production
• To ensure the tooling to be heat/transfer in the oven before production.
• To ensure all tooling standby must be clean and maintain in good operating condition. Any damage or hiccup must be report immediately to foreman or supervisor for further action.
• To transfer the pipe and fitting into post cure oven after wind.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedure, and report problems if any to foreman or supervisor.
• To comply with all safety, housekeeping and health procedure at work or premise.
• Any other duties assign by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM Qualification or equivalent.
• Preferred experience is manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to carry physical works.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor in various conditions (hot, dusty, wet and noisy).
• This role required you to work on rotating shifts.
