Job summary

Pentamaster Corporation Berhad (Official) in Malaysia seeks an engineer to design and develop firmware for embedded systems. You will work on microcontroller/FPGA selection, write low-level code in C/C++/VHDL, and optimize firmware while learning new skills as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, UNIX-like OS experience, and collaboration across teams to deliver robust firmware solutions and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master, or Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with microcontroller or FPGA IC selection.
• Experience in coding in C, C++, or VHDL or equivalent languages.
• Experience in developing low-level code.
• Experience in UNIX-like operating systems.
• Hands-on firmware or FPGA design experience from university/college or current work.
• DSP for digital filtering is a plus.
