Job summary

Bridge Data Centres Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a Fire System Engineer to lead maintenance of critical facility electrical systems, including fire protection and monitoring.

You will work with project teams and on-site staff for system integration, testing, and commissioning, ensuring design intent and operational readiness.

The role requires hands-on operation in a highly critical environment, adherence to SOPs, Change Control, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field with at least 5 years in Data Centre or Hi-tech environments.
• Proficient in English; able to write detailed SOPs and incident reports.
• Technical knowledge of critical data centre electrical systems including HVAC, UPS, fire protection.
• Experience with CMMS and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance tasks for critical environment systems and monitor performance.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and inspection of fire protection and electrical systems.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance for testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate change control and safe operation of facilities.
• Liaise with overseas vendors and participate in customer meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and local regulations.
