Job summary

MetaComp is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer based in Singapore to drive API integration, smart routing, and AI-powered orchestration across banks, exchanges, PSPs, and external platforms.

You will build scalable API connectivity infrastructure, intelligent routing services, and AI-driven operational capabilities to support high-volume transactions in a fintech environment. Strong backend and security experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software engineering or backend development.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhook integrations, and distributed systems.
• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot, Node.js or Python.
• Familiar with API authentication (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, HMAC, RSA).
• Knowledge of API gateways, routing, and middleware concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases, logging, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external financial and operational platforms.
• Build reusable API connectors and middleware for scalable onboarding.
• Develop RESTful APIs, webhook handlers, and integration services.
• Implement secure authentication and communication mechanisms (OAuth2/JWT/HMAC/RSA).
• Create intelligent routing and orchestration across channels and partners.
• Implement retries, failover, and resiliency for partner channels.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Infra teams.
