Job summary

iSoftstone Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer based in Singapore to drive API integration, smart routing, and AI-powered orchestration across financial platforms. You will build scalable connectivity, secure APIs, and AI-driven workflows in a fintech environment.

The role emphasizes backend engineering, ownership, and collaboration with product, operations, and external partners to enable high-volume transaction flows across channels.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software engineering or backend development experience.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhook integrations, API troubleshooting and distributed systems integration.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or similar backend technologies.
• Familiarity with API authentication and security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, API keys, HMAC / RSA signatures.
• Knowledge of API gateway, routing, orchestration, or middleware concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, logging, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration with external financial and operational platforms.
• Build reusable API connector frameworks and middleware for scalable partner onboarding.
• Develop RESTful APIs, webhook handlers, and integration services with secure auth.
• Implement routing and automation logic for multi-channel payments and liquidity routing.
• Support AI-driven operational capabilities and AI workflow integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams on AI-driven productivity improvements.
• Maintain monitoring dashboards and health metrics for external APIs.
