Job summary

The Brasserie in Grand Cayman is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our fine dining team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist with preparation, production, and service of menu items, daily specials, salads, and sandwiches during lunch service.

Maintain a safe, organized kitchen and support all kitchen stations as needed. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of culinary experience, knowledge of grill/line and cold station, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience.
• Experience in all kitchen areas including grill/line and cold station.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic components of menu dishes following recipes.
• Assist in the preparation of fine dining dishes and daily specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas according to standards.
• Collaborate with other cooks to complete prep for different shifts.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate items as schedule requires.
• Support chefs and manage your station during service.
• Ensure high quality food production, presentation, and portion control.
