Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Financial Planner to advise Japanese clients across ASEAN on financial goals and risk tolerance. You will structure solutions spanning life/health insurance, asset management, and overseas investments.

The role requires 3+ years in financial sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid remote environment. You will develop new HNW clients and manage ongoing relationships, with regional exposure across ASEAN.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese (written and spoken) to communicate with clients.
• Fluent business English to coordinate with the local team and regional partners.
• Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in banking, insurance, wealth management, or financial services.

• Cross-Border Coordination: Navigate international financial landscapes to offer seamless overseas investment guidance.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Native-level Japanese (written and spoken) to seamlessly communicate with clients; fluency in business English to coordinate with the local team and regional partners.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably within banking, insurance, wealth management, or financial services.

• Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid remote environment.
