Job summary

AYER Holdings Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Finance professional to support group consolidation and reporting across quarterly and annual cycles. You will prepare schedules, consolidate data, and perform inter-company reconciliations to ensure accurate financials.

Qualifications

• A recognized Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, MIA, MACPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably with exposure to Group Finance operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong financial data analysis capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and applicable financial reporting standards.
• Good knowledge of Group consolidation, financial reporting, and intercompany transactions.
• Strong proficiency in full-set accounts, monthly/ quarterly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with integrity and professionalism.
• Motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supporting worksheets, financial information for Group consolidation, quarterly reporting and management reporting.
• Prepare analyses of financial data and supporting schedules for the Sustainability Report.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Prepare Group financial schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for timely reporting.
• Perform inter-company reconciliations and confirmations to support consolidation.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, including consolidation from subsidiaries.
• Provide financial information and schedules to external auditors and advisers as required.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
