FWD Takaful Berhad is recruiting for a qualified accounting professional to support group reporting, regulatory submissions, and tax computations. You will work on balance sheet reconciliations, CoA maintenance, and Oracle system enhancements within a takaful environment.

The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in accounting or recognised accounting qualification.
3-5 years' experience in takaful/insurance or external audit in insurance/financial institutions.
Knowledge of MFRS/IFRS; IFRS 17 & 9 preferred.

Responsabilidades

Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual group reporting submissions.
Assist in management and consolidation accounts, regulatory reporting forms.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for local and group ledgers.
Maintain Chart of Accounts mapping and posting rules; develop reports and disclosures.
Support Oracle system enhancements with accounting requirements.
Prepare quarterly provisional tax computations for group reporting; handle tax matters.
Oversee daily management activities, IL NAV computations, and interactions with custodians/fund managers.
Intercompany cost allocations, recharges, and reconciliations.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from RMCD and IRB; coordinate with stakeholders for statutory reporting.
