Job summary

BASF Malaysia is seeking a Finance Business Reporting Analyst to deliver accurate monthly reporting and ensure timely close in line with group policies and local regulatory requirements. You will maintain master data for material ledger, inventory valuation, production planning budgets and cost centers, perform variance analyses and support country stakeholders with transparent financial insights.

Residency in Malaysia is required; you will collaborate with regional teams, auditors and internal

Qualifications

University degree in finance and accounting or business studies.
Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance and accounting functions, preferably in Business Reporting.

Responsibilities

Deliver business reporting services with accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
Maintain master data for material ledger, inventory valuation, production planning budget, cost centers and related areas.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities timely and accurately.
Review and analyze fixed assets, project accounting transactions and non-trade business transactions.
Provide guidance to customers and controlling units on material ledger, inventory valuation and cost center accounting.
