Zebra Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Financial Analyst II to drive monthly results analysis, variance reviews and P&L reporting. You’ll partner with department managers to explain numbers, support budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts, and deliver clear narratives for senior leaders.

The role demands advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency, 2+ years in accounting or finance, and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; 3–6 years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Makes recommendations and works on P&L reporting and variance analysis.
• Support ad-hoc projects, including developing financial reporting for ad-hoc projects.
• Liaise with department managers and effectively communicate financial analysis.
• Design and production of key management reports with narrative and explanations.
• Business partnering support to specific business functions.
• Detailed involvement in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecast for operations under partnering responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:

The Financial Analyst II role works on analysis, preparation, investigation and resolution of the monthly results and variances. This role maintains key financial relationships with functional level management ,including directly supporting director level requirements. This role also provides analysis and recommendations on a variety of ad hoc projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes recommendations and works on P&L reporting and variance analysis
• Support ad-hoc projects, including developing financial reporting for ad-hoc projects
• Liaise with department managers and effectively communicate financial analysis
• Design and production of key management reports with appropriate narrative and explanations
• Business partnering support to specific business functions
• Detailed involvement in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecast for operations under partnering responsibilities

Key Skills and Competencies:

• High Degree of Accuracy
• Confident at working towards deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Some experience with a computer based accounting systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, ERP

Minimum Education or Equivalent:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum Work Experience:

2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required. Between 3 and 6 years experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred
