Job summary

Flex, based in Prai, Penang, seeks a Financial Analyst to support growth with accurate financial reporting across business units. You will consolidate, review, and explain variances in statements and forecast data, ensuring timely reports for management.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, GAAP familiarity, and collaboration with tax, treasury, and regional finance teams. A relevant commerce degree with 2–4 years FP&A experience in an MNC is preferred; CPA/CFP/ CMA/CA/ CGA or APICS is

Qualifications

• Typically requires a B.Com / BCS / M.Com / MBA / BBA / BBM or equivalent commerce/accounting degree.
• Typically requires 2–4 years of related FP&A experience in an MNC.
• Related professional certification preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA, or APICS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements.
• Input journal entries and maintain ledgers.
• Aggregate actual and forecast data; compare against prior forecasts.
• Develop commentary explaining forecast changes and KPI deviations.
• Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Advise on corporate accounting policies, US GAAP, and BS recons.
• Coordinate with tax, treasury, and regional finance teams.
• Generate financial reports for business review.
• Identify cost savings and profitability opportunities.
