Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD is seeking a Financial Analyst in Prai, Penang to support the preparation and research of financial reports to ensure charges and headcount are allocated correctly and reported timely.

You will consolidate data, prepare forecasts, and develop commentary on changes in forecasts, supporting quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Collaboration with tax, treasury, and regional finance is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Related professional certification preferred – CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA or APICS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements.
• Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data.
• Develop commentary on changes in forecasts and deviations from metrics.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities.
• Advise reporting entities on accounting policies, US GAAP and BS recon.
• Liaise between tax, treasury and finance teams and regional/local managers.
• Generate financial reports for business review.
• Conduct cost investigations as required.
• Make recommendations for cost savings and profitability improvements.
