Job summary
Flex is seeking a Financial Analyst in Prai, Penang to support consolidation, budgeting and forecasting. You will prepare financial reports, input journal entries, and drive timely analysis to ensure charges and headcount align with business units.
Ideal candidates hold a commerce/Accounts degree and have 5–6 years in FP&A within an MNC, with CPA/CFP/CMA/CA/CGA or APICS certifications preferred.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a B. Com / B.C. S / M. Com / MBA /BBA/ BBM, any other commerce and Accounts Stream degrees.
- Typically requires 5–6 years of related experience in the Financial Planning and Analysis role in any MNC.
- Related professional certification preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA, or APICS.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements.
- Input journal entries.
- Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data.
- Develop detailed commentary on forecast changes and deviations.
- Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities.
- Advise on accounting policies, US GAAP and BS reconciliations.
- Coordinate with tax, treasury and finance teams to support reporting.
- Generate financial reports for business review and profitability analysis.
- Conduct cost investigations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
