Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia seeks an experienced Finance Leader to manage reporting, tax, audits, and controls for a manufacturing environment. You will drive data-driven insights, partner with business teams, and lead transformation efforts to standardize processes and automate workflows.

The role requires 12+ years of finance experience, IFRS/MFRS proficiency, and strong analytical and stakeholder skills. Multinational exposure and capability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, MIA, CTIM or equivalent).
• Minimum 12 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment and exposure to multinational corporations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS, Malaysian tax regulations, Companies Act, statutory compliance and internal controls.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and analysis in accordance with IFRS/MFRS and statutory requirements.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, identify key business drivers, and explain variances to management.
• Manage statutory audits and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Oversee inventory and fixed asset accounting processes with strong controls and data integrity.
• Partner with business and functional teams to provide reliable financial information and resolve accounting matters.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including corporate tax, SST, stamp duty, and transfer pricing.
• Support corporate secretarial activities and ensure compliance with SSM requirements.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives focusing on standardization, automation and process improvements.
