Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a Manager Tax to lead corporate tax compliance and reporting for Malaysian entities. You will coordinate with regional tax teams and auditors, manage tax audits, and drive BEPS Pillar Two initiatives. A strong background in tax technology and SAP is preferred, with regular weekly travel to Kulim.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 7–10+ years in corporate tax within multinational settings. CPA/ACCA/CA/CTA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or equivalent).
• 7–10+ years of tax experience in a multinational company or Big Four.
• Weekly travel to Infineon Kulim for business support is required.
• Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and tax reporting.
• Experience managing tax audits and tax authority interactions.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing requirements and BEPS Pillar Two.
• Experience with tax technology projects and SAP familiarity.
• Knowledge of Malaysian corporate income tax, IFRS tax accounting (IAS 12).

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance for Malaysian entities including corporate tax filings, withholding tax, transfer pricing docs, stamp duty, tax governance and tax control framework.
• Oversee quarterly tax reporting and tax payments, including deferred and current tax calculations and uncertain tax positions.
• Support BEPS Pillar 2 compliance, tax audits, and coordinate with finance for accurate disclosures.
• Act as primary contact for regional tax teams, external consultants and auditors; support tax technology projects.
