Job summary

Swiss Re's SRAL Carrier Management team in Malaysia is seeking a technology-savvy finance professional to support a major transformation project, moving from a legacy sub-ledger to a new system landscape, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.

You will reconcile data, assist in testing, document new processes, and coordinate with finance, IT and business stakeholders, while also providing BAU finance operations and regulatory reporting support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, reporting, finance operations, systems implementation, or transformation projects.
• Experience working with financial data, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting testing, system migrations, or process improvement initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sub-ledger decommissioning and transformation support: perform reconciliations between legacy and target systems to ensure data integrity; investigate differences; validate balances and key data sets during migration.
• Reporting and system implementation: redesign and rebuild reports in the new system; gather requirements; assist in UAT and data validation; track issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Process documentation and governance: create and update process docs and training materials; ensure governance and audit trails are maintained throughout the project; prepare status updates.
• Business-as-Usual (BAU) support: finance operations, reporting, reconciliations, ad hoc projects, regulatory reporting, and audit requests.
