RED Engineering Design in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Finance/Payroll Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities and payroll processes from the KL office. You will oversee general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and tax filings, while coordinating with auditors and external advisors.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, at least 5 years of accounting experience, 1–2 years in Malaysia payroll, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting work experience.
• Experience in construction or consultancy project accounting desirable.
• 1–2 years payroll management experience in Malaysia.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Fluent in English and local language; strong written and verbal communication.
• Advanced Excel; basic PowerPoint and Word skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage full set of accounts: GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements per Malaysia accounting standards.
• Assist with budget forecasts and updates.
• Assist in tax filing and tax schedules; coordinate with external tax advisor.
• Assist with E-invoicing implementation.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing; support audits.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to management.
• Administer corporate insurance policies; liaise with brokers.
• Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing with finance.

RED isan expanding international M&E consultancy, with a proven track record in low energy design, focused on providing excellent design solutions to clients.

We now seek an experienced Finance/Payroll Executive to be based in our KL office to inspire others.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full set of account, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliation
• Prepare monthly and annual FS in compliance with Maylasia accounting standards
• Assisting with budget forecasts and updates
• Assist in tax filing and compliance, including preparation of tax schedules and coordination with external tax advisor
• Assist for E-invoicing implementation
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
• Support audit processes and liaise with auditors
• Providing support to the management team through ad-hoc analysis
• Administer and maintain all corporate insurance policies (e.g. property, liability, employee benefits, directors & officers)
• Liaise with insurance brokers, providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage and timely renewals
• Perform payroll administration activities
• Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing with finance

Role Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, finance or related field
• Candidates must have minimum 5 years of working experience as an accountant, with the ability to work on an autonomous basis
• Experience of working within the Construction or Consultancy Service Industry, with knowledge of project accounting desirable
• 1-2 year(s) experience in managing Malaysia payroll
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Driven, proactive, and mature working attitude
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, basic skills in PowerPoint and Word
• Fluent in English and local language in conjunction to having excellent written and verbal communication skills
