Job summary

Atifa Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented finance assistant to assist in overseeing the organization’s financial operations, maintain financial reports, management accounts, and accounting records, and perform timely bank reconciliations.

You will monitor cash flow, support month-end and year-end close, prepare invoices and related documents, ensure data accuracy and proper filing, reconcile invoices with the SOA, and carry out other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining financial reports, management accounts, and accounting records.
• Perform bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Arrange and monitor cash flow to ensure funds for payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and process billing, invoices, collections, and payment documents.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documents.
• Ensure proper data entry and record-keeping.
• Maintain organized filing system for financial records.
• Reconcile invoices with the Statement of Account (SOA).
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
