Job summary

AZAN Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Finance Assistant to support day-to-day financial and accounting activities in Kuching, Malaysia.

You will help prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other documents, and assist with recording transactions and maintaining orderly records. The role covers accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, monthly reports, payroll support, and liaison with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day to day financial and accounting activities.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Assist in recording and updating financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and maintain proper filing of financial and accounting records.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and checking of financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and other finance related reports.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables when required.
• Assist with payroll preparation and other finance-related administrative tasks.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and relevant parties regarding financial matters.
• Ensure all financial documents and records are accurate and properly maintained.
