Job summary

Softinn is a hotel technology company in Malaysia seeking a Finance & Operations Executive to own financial administration and compliance. This role emphasizes a full set of accounts, timely e-Invoicing (MyInvois) and SST, and preparing financial reports for management.

You will handle invoicing, renewals, and finance research relevant to the hotel sector, with a detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach in a SaaS-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in finance admin, accounts payable/receivable, or operations.
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Malaysian e-Invoice (MyInvois) and SST.
• High attention to detail and deadlines orientation.
• Proactive and independent with cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and cloud-based accounting tools.
• Able to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts on time.
• Submit e-Invoice and SST on timely basis; knowledge of SST & e-Invoicing is a MUST.
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and management business reports.
• Assist in customer account renewal, invoicing and follow up.
• Conduct periodic finance, business, and tax research relevant to Softinn and hotel industry.
• Understand hotel accounting workflows is a plus.

The Finance & Operations Executive owns the financial administration and compliance functions of the Business Department. This is a process-driven, detail-oriented role suited for someone who finds satisfaction in clean books, timely submissions, and getting the numbers right. It is not a heavy accounting entry role -but it requires someone who is comfortable with figures, deadlines, and Malaysian tax compliance requirements.

Job Responsibility:

• Handle a full set of accounts on time.
• Submit e-Invoice and SST on timely basis. Knowledge of SST & e-Invoicing is a MUST.
• Accurately & effectively perform bookkeeping of accounts and reconciliation
• Prepare financial reports, and compile business reports for management
• Assist in customer account renewal, invoicing & follow up
• Conduct periodic research on finance, business, and tax relevant to the Softinn and hotel industry.
• Understanding of hotel accounting workflows is a Plus point

Job Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in finance admin, accounts payable/receivable, or operations
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles and reconciliation
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Malaysian e-Invoice (MyInvois) and SST requirements
• High attention to detail -you notice when something doesn't add up
• Proactive - you flag issues early instead of waiting for problems to surface
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and cloud-based accounting tools
• Proficient in IT and Computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously

Not Mandatory but BONUS if:

• Familiar with Wave accounting, Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent accounting software
• Hands-on experience with LHDN MyInvois portal
• Familiar with Excel PowerQuery
• Familiar with Hotel Accounting workflows
• Experience in a SaaS, tech, or hotel & hospitality-related company

Salary Range:

RM 2,500 to RM 3,500
