Job summary

The UAE-based trading business requires a Finance Manager to oversee the full finance and accounting function with strong IFRS knowledge, UAE tax expertise, and hands-on cash flow and ERP oversight. Key responsibilities include IFRS-compliant reporting, VAT and corporate tax management, external audits, and ERP system enhancements (Odoo focus; Oracle a plus).

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical trading or industrial trading is mandatory.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and UAE tax expertise.
• Experience with multi-entity structures and complex consolidation.
• ERP systems experience; data migration and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• IFRS-compliant preparation of financial statements and month-end close.
• VAT filing, UAE corporate tax, transfer pricing documentation.
• Lead external audits and strengthen internal controls.
• ERP implementation support (Odoo preferred; Oracle a plus) and automation initiatives.
• Standardize procedures across multiple entities and ensure consistent accounting practices.
