Job summary

KMT JAYA SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead accounting, reporting and tax compliance in a dynamic environment. You will oversee closing processes, budgeting support and regulatory interactions to ensure accurate financial information.

You will manage audits, cash flow forecasting, working capital, and guide a small team while maintaining high standards of integrity and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST and taxation.
• Experience in trading/import/distribution or FMCG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review full sets of accounts, monthly management accounts, financial statements and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including GL, accruals and provisions.
• Review corporate tax computations, SST, withholding tax and CP204.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, secretaries, bankers and regulators.
• Analyze financial performance, gross margins, OPEX and variances.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure statutory compliance.
