Job summary

IOG SALES & MARKETING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a finance professional to manage budgeting, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis, and to oversee the full set of accounts and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification, at least 3 years in oil & gas, logistics or audit, and strong treasury, tax and regulatory knowledge. Immediate start available; Saturday work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and cash flow forecasts with financial analysis
• Manage full set of accounts, management reports, AP, credit control and cash flows
• Assist consolidation of group accounts and board reports
• Perform budgeting/forecasting analyses
• Liaise with government authorities, external auditors, tax agents and bankers
• Manage operating expenses within approved budgets
• Prepare cash funds forecast and oversee treasury work
• Oversee tax and regulatory compliance records
• Support head of department in implementing key strategies and stock checks
• Supervise accounts & finance team for day-to-day operations
• Handle ad hoc assignments from Head of Department

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and manage budget & cash flow forecasts including financial analysis to control cost and improve overall financial performance.
• Responsible for full set of accounts, management reports, accounts payable, credit control and cash flows within the tight deadline assigned.
• Assist into preparation of Consolidate group accounts, management account / report to board of director review and reporting.
• Perform financial analysis and review annual budgets and perform analysis in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaison with the relevant government authorities for approval and compliance, external auditors / tax agents / banker.
• Manage operation expenses to ensure all expenses within approved budget.
• Prepare cash fund forecast, assists into treasury banking work and monitor cash flow requirements.
• Overseeing tax and other regulatory compliance records.
• Assist dept. head in driving the operation, that is, be the prime mover in ensuring that key strategies are implemented and realized and hands on to routine Stock Check .
• Assist immediate superior to supervise the accounts & finance team to ensure the day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities.
• Any ad hoc assignment assigned by the Head Of Department and the management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Professional Qualification in Accountancy / Finance ( LCCI,ACCA CIMA,CPA,MIA or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of related working experience in Oil& Gas, Logistics industry and/or audit firms will be an advantage
• Knowledge of cash management principles
• Strong knowledge of Treasury, banking systems and processes
• Required Skill (s): Microsoft office, Auto Count, SAP system
• Knowledge of taxation and consolidated financial statements
• Meticulous with a strong analytical mind, coupled with an ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and initiative.
• Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
• Required Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Added advantage)
• Able to start immediately or within short notice.
• Able to work on Saturday
