Job summary

GuocoLand Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the financial management of its development projects. The role focuses on property development finance, accounting, and related audit exposure, with emphasis on strategic financial oversight.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will partner with senior leadership on project performance, cash flow, financial reporting, and business decisions across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience in financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
• Understanding of property development accounting and project financial reporting.
• Experience gained within a property development company and/or through audit engagements involving property development clients.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and statutory compliance for development projects.
• Property development accounting and project financial reporting.
• Development expenditure and cost monitoring for projects.
• Project cash flow management and financing matters.
• Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for development cycles.
• Tax, audit and regulatory matters related to development projects.
• Financial analysis and business partnering with senior leadership.
