Job summary

Contemporary Perfumers Limited (CPL) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the full spectrum of finance operations for our Malaysia business, covering manufacturing and sales activities. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis while partnering with business leaders to improve profitability and operational performance.

The role requires expertise in Malaysian tax and regulatory compliance and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent).
Strong finance leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and business partnering.
ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

Lead financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing activities.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
Partner with business leaders to drive profitability and operational performance.
Oversee financial controls, audits, taxation, statutory compliance, and risk management.
Manage accounts receivable, inventory control, and working capital.
Support business case evaluations, capital expenditure planning, and ERP initiatives.
Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures.
