Job summary

Flintex Consulting is hiring a Finance Manager for a Global Electronics Manufacturing operation in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role oversees accounting, financial reporting, costing and tax matters, and leads the finance team to ensure accurate month-end closings, forecasting and budgeting.

Ideal candidates possess CPA with degree or equivalent, 5-7 years in manufacturing, and strong supervisory and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• CPA with Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong supervisory experience and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, costing and other accounting functions.
• Manage the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory, legislative requirements and group policies.
• Analyze data for decision making by operational and senior management.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax and corporate secretarial matters.
• Drive new financial system implementations and upgrades.
• Formulate and implement financial policies.
• Assist in daily operations and ad hoc projects.

Education
